Consumer Electronics Show
A record number of South Korean startups and firms are gearing up to participate in the Consumer Electronics Show in the U.S. this week.
According to the Korea Information and Communication Technology Industry Association, six Korean conglomerates, 184 small and medium-sized enterprises and 200 startups will be among those exhibiting their latest innovations at the world's largest technology conference.
That number is up from the 298 Korean firms that took part last year, and will represent the third-largest showing following the United States and China.
This year's CES is set to kick off Tuesday in Las Vegas, Nevada.■
