Yesterday, the Korea Institute for Health and Social Affairs released a new report on changing social patterns in Korea related to marriage and childbirth.  The survey of more than 3,300 single men and women showed many reasons for waiting to get married.   About 55 percent of those who responded of them said the reasons are related to personal values.

- The report says that the average of age of women getting married in 1981 was 23.2 years old. But in 2008 the average age is 28.3. What is interesting here is that the average age increase by  years but many of the respondents find themselves "too young" to get married.
