tonight's theme is adventurous experience. It may not be related to the theme. But let me tell my adventure.
When I was only 3rd grades in elementary school, during the winter vacation.
Only my grandparents and I had been to America !!!!! It was too adventurous to my family. Even my grandfather was a teacher in elementary school, too long long time passed away since he had entired, and surely grandmother can't speak, either.AND like I said, i was only 10 years old, that time. It means that we couldn't express our any wants or complain or questions.
Luckily we were on guide tour, so we really didn't have to speak English, but when we went San Francisco' very very famous port, and guide gave us free time.
OMG!! it's time to speak English!!!! Even we want to buy some pretty shells, or want to ask a favor of taking a picture of ours. I was just freezes.haha. I'm so afraid of talking foreign people.. I was in chaos..haha I knew there were only me who could speak English though that was just a short dialogue like
"how much?" or "excuse me".
and just that moment, my grandmother wanted to go toilet, and of course, we could't find toilet anywhere. I was like to scream, because of nervous. Information desk was in front of us. The atmosphere changed like I have to talk to the man by English. First, we said just Korean "화장실이 어디예요?" because the man was really looked like Korean, but, he seemed don't understand.
aaaaah,,,,so I just said "W..where..is t..the restroom?" I needed courage very very much. and luckily he seemed understand my shivering pronunciation. and he stretched his arm to some where.. and shockingly the toilet was just on the right side of place where we were standing......
I was really shocked..haha but I think it was very thrilling and adventurous experience. Taling to foreign person is really adventurous thing I think..haha
