South Korea offers numerous free Wi-Fi zones to access connectivity on the go.
Free wireless Internet is available at most subway stations and on city buses as well as some public locations like bus terminals, hospitals and post offices.
Cafes also allow customers to access their wireless Internet network.
But for temporary Internet access anywhere, anytime, options include prepaid cards, portable devices and Wi-Fi zone service.
SIM cards, which provide users with data, can be purchased at the airport, online, network operators' stores and some convenience stores.
Visitors can also rent smartphones with SIM cards at kiosks at Incheon International Airport or so-called "global stores" around the city providing English-language services for foreigners.
Wi-Fi vouchers are sold at convenience stores, which let users access the Internet in the service provider's hotspot locations.
Renting out "eggs" or portable wireless routers is another option.
They can be rented at the airport or global stores around the city.
