The King Sejong Institute has launched a new Korean learning program that uses popular K-pop and K-drama content.
The new series by the state-run language center is titled "K-wave Korean."
It features 52 five-minute video clips in English and provides subtitles in Chinese, Vietnamese, Indonesian, and Russian.
More than two dozen videos help viewers learn Korean expressions, grammar, and culture with scenes from Korean dramas, such as "Guardian: The Lonely and Great God" (2016) and "The Heirs" (2013).
The others use K-pop hits, including Oh My Girl's "Remember Me" and Lovelyz's "Ah-Choo," for lessons.
The content is available on the foundation's website (www.iksi.or.kr) and YouTube channel as well as Nuri-Sejonghakdang website (nuri.iksi.or.kr).
