The total number of coronavirus infections in the South Korean military has reached 890.
The defense ministry said Monday that four service members -– three Army soldiers and an airman -– recently tested positive for COVID-19.
The three soldiers are from a base in Yangju, Gyeonggi Province, where a small cluster was reported earlier this month.
Officials said at least 10 cases have been linked to this military unit.
Separately, the airman was diagnosed with COVID-19 while on leave from his base in Gangneung.
The ministry also reported no additional cases from another outbreak at an Army unit in Cheorwon, Gangwon Province, where 27 soldiers have been confirmed with coronavirus infections as of Sunday.
