A group of South Koreans has returned home from India, which is suffering the world's worst COVID-19 outbreak.
A chartered flight carrying 173 passengers from the Indian city of Chennai arrived at Incheon International Airport after 10 a.m. Tuesday.
Upon arrival, the passengers will spend one night at government-designated facilities, where they will get tested for the coronavirus, before going into quarantine for 14 days.
Another group of 211 Korean nationals are scheduled to return Friday from Bangalore.
Regular flights between South Korea and India have been suspended since March last year due to virus concerns.
