Two more cases of COVID-19 have been reported in the South Korean military.
The defense ministry revealed Wednesday a Navy officer stationed in Dongdae, Gangwon Province, was diagnosed with the coronavirus disease after coming into close contact with one of his colleagues who earlier tested positive for the virus.
The other case is an Army soldier stationed in the northeastern county of Yanggu, who tested positive after returning from leave.
A total of 490 cases have been confirmed among the military population, with 47 patients still receiving treatment.
