Taiwan has reported its first death from the novel coronavirus outbreak.
According to Taiwan's Central News Agency, a male taxi driver in his 60s died on Saturday.
Citing Taipei's Health Minister Chen Shih-chung, CNA added he had no record of overseas travel and had no known contact with confirmed virus patients.
His death marks the fifth fatality outside of mainland China.■
