U.S. President Donald Trump (R) and former Vice President Joe Biden are scheduled to go head to head in the first of three debates on Sept. 29, 2020.
U.S. President Donald Trump and his Democratic challenger Joe Biden are set to face off Tuesday in the first of three televised debates.
The event in Cleveland will begin at 9 p.m. Eastern Standard Time, or 10 a.m. Wednesday Korea time.
COVID-19 restrictions will give the debate moderated by Fox News anchor Chris Wallace a streamlined look with a smaller audience.
There will also be no handshake as the rivals stand on stage for 90 minutes.
Trump's handling of the coronavirus pandemic will likely dominate much of the discussion.
Other topics will include police brutality and racial injustice as well as the economy.
