U.S. President Donald Trump continued to claim on Wednesday that he won the election earlier this month "by a lot."
At an event held by Pennsylvania Republicans to investigate unproven allegations of voter fraud, Trump said, "This was an election that we won easily," adding that it "has to be turned around."
The president did not attend the event in person, amid coronavirus fears, but spoke to the GOP panel via a phone held up to a microphone by his lawyer Jenna Ellis.
President-elect Joe Biden won Pennsylvania by about 80,000 votes, and the state certified him as the winner on Tuesday.
The event was the latest attempt by Trump and his lawyer Rudy Giuliani to try to cast doubt on the results of the election, even as the formal transition process has begun.
