National Assembly to undergo disinfection
The National Assembly has decided to disinfect its main building and members' office building amid the rapidly-spreading coronavirus in the country.
Parliamentary spokesman Han Min-soo said the buildings will be temporarily shut down for 24 hours from 6 p.m. after it came to light earlier in the day that a confirmed patient took part in an event at the members' building last week.
That means a plenary session scheduled for tomorrow has been canceled.
Han said the buildings will reopen at 9 a.m. Wednesday.
Plenary and interpellation sessions set for today were also called off.■
