At least 102 coronavirus infections have now been traced to a logistics center run by Coupang in Bucheon, Gyeonggi Province.
According to the Korea Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, around 70 of the cases were infected at the center while the remaining are people that they came into contact with.
Health authorities said they have completed tests on 88 percent of over 4,300 workers and visitors at the distribution center.
Officials have called on residents in the Seoul metropolitan area to avoid large gatherings and to cancel or postpone events for two weeks to stem the further spread of the virus.
Meanwhile, the government has launched an investigation into distribution centers.
Kim Gang-lip, deputy head of the Central Disaster Management Headquarters, said the government has requested cooperation to inspect the facilities.
