South Korea has expressed its support for international efforts to develop a vaccine for COVID-19.
Health Minister Park Neung-hoo told an online meeting of G20 health ministers Thursday that the coronavirus pandemic is progressive.
He noted that the early development of a vaccine and its fair distribution is key to keep everyone safe.
Park also said the virus is having a major impact on the economy, and said more investments have to be made into health and medical systems.
