South Korea's daily tally of new coronavirus cases rose by 76 on Monday.
According to the Korea Disease Control and Prevention Agency, 50 domestic infections and 26 imported cases were confirmed in the last 24 hours.
The national caseload now stands at 25,275.
The death toll remained unchanged at 444 with no additional fatalities.
Efforts by local health authorities to stem further spread of COVID-19 have been hampered in recent days by sporadic cluster infections, particularly at medical facilities, including those that serve the elderly.
Experts have warned the virus is more fatal for seniors, with those aged 70 and above accounting for more than 80 percent of all related deaths.
The number of recovered coronavirus patients in the country reached 23,368, up 56 from Sunday.
