Two additional coronavirus infections have been reported among the South Korean Army.
The defense ministry said Monday that another recruit from a basic training unit in Yeoncheon, Gyeonggi Province, tested positive for COVID-19.
The base has confirmed 72 cases since last week, marking the largest military cluster.
According to officials, the latest soldier to be diagnosed initially tested negative for the virus but later began showing symptoms while under quarantine.
A base in Cheorwon, Gangwon Province, reported that an officer tested positive before being released from isolation.
The total number of infections in the military reached 371 as of Monday morning, with 176 still receiving treatment.
