The head of the Korea Disease Control and Prevention Agency has tested negative for COVID-19 following an exposure scare.
Jeong was screened on Tuesday as a precautionary measure after coming into contact with Health Minister Kwon Deol-cheol.
Kwon also tested negative for the disease after coming into close contact with an infected health ministry official.
However, the minister will self-isolate for two weeks to ensure his safety and the safety of others.
