Prime Minister nominee Kim Boo-kyum is in the hot seat for the second and final day of his confirmation hearing at the National Assembly.
The main opposition People Power Party will likely continue their inquiries on Friday into a series of allegations against the former interior minister, including suspicious that Kim's daughter and son-in-law were involved in a financial scandal surrounding the now-defunct Lime Asset Management.
Parliament is expected to hold a general meeting next Monday to decide whether to adopt a report on Kim's confirmation hearing.
The prime minister nominee must be approved by the National Assembly to assume office.
