President-elect Park Geun-hye's transition team announced the new government's key vision and goals today, which will guide the new adminstration over the next five years.
Transition team chief Kim Yong-joon said the new government's overarching vision will be a new era of people's happiness and hope, centered on building a job-oriented creative economy and providing tailored welfare services.
He said a total of 21 strategies and 140 policy plans have been designed to help achieve the goals.
The announcement of the policy road map wraps up the transition team's two-month operation, and the team will be disbanded tomorrow.■
