Go master Lee Se-dol has lost the second round of the final match of his 24-year career against artificial intelligence-powered program HanDol.
At today's match, Lee admitted defeat against the AI Go program, developed by NHN Entertainment Corp. following his 122nd move.
He won yesterday's match after opening with a two-stone advantage.
The third and final match will be held on Saturday in Lee's hometown of Sinan, South Jeolla Province.
He is the only human to score a win against Google's AI Go player AlphaGo in a high profile five-game match in 2016.
Lee announced his retirement from Go, or baduk in Korean, last month.■
