North Korean leader Kim Jong-un at the Kumsusan Palace of the Sun
North Korean leader Kim Jong-un has visited a mausoleum where his late father's body is enshrined to commemorate his 78th birthday.
The North's state-run Korean Central News Agency reported today that leader Kim paid tribute at Pyongyang's Kumsusan Palace of the Sun, without disclosing the exact date of the visit.
The appearance comes 22 days after he was last seen in public at a concert in Pyongyang celebrating Lunar New Year's Day on January 25.
According to the report, Kim was accompanied by close aides including Choe Ryong-hae and Pak Pong-ju.■
