North Korean leader Kim Jong-un has consoled South Koreans in their fight against the novel coronavirus.
Cheong Wa Dae said Kim sent President Moon Jae-in a personal letter on Wednesday.
In it, the North's leader also said he believes the South will surely overcome the outbreak and wished its southern compatriots good health.
The top office said the president sent Kim a thank you letter Thursday.
The regime has yet to report any confirmed COVID-19 cases.■
