Thousands of people gathered at Barcelona's main square Friday, to pay tribute to the 14 people killed in the two recent terror attacks in Barcelona and Cambrils.
Spanish Prime Minister Mariano Rajoy, King Felipe VI of Spain, and Carles Puigdemont, the president of the Spanish region of Catalonia joined the mourners in observing a minute of silence.
Flags, flowers, candles, and teddy bears were laid for the victims.
The mourners also took the streets of Las Ramblas chanting "I am not afraid", in defiance of terrorists.■
