President Moon Jae-in has invited "Parasite" director Bong Joon-ho to Cheong Wa Dae.
According to the presidential office, Moon will sit down with Bong next Thursday to congratulate him on winning for Academy Awards.
The top office is reportedly fine-tuning details about the meeting with Bong's aides.
A day prior, Bong is scheduled to hold a press conference regarding the Oscar wins with actor Song Kang-ho, producer Kwak Sin-ae and screenwriter Han Jin-won.■
