BTS was the most tweeted about musical act during the first six months of the coronavirus quarantine in the United States, from March 1 through September 1.

According to the "Twitter From Home" trend report released Tuesday by the social networking service, the South Korean boy band was followed by Kanye West, Beyoncé, Drake, and Megan Thee Stallion.

Fellow Korean groups NCT and ATEEZ ranked sixth and eighth, respectively.

BTS has also spent a record-breaking 195 weeks atop Billboard's Social 50 chart, which tracks social engagement across social media platforms, and won Top Social Artist three years in a row at the Billboard Music Awards.

Further demonstrating the septet's global reach and popularity, it made history last month when it became the first Korean pop act to top the Billboard Hot 100 chart with its first all-English song "Dynamite."
