South Korean actress Youn Yuh-jung has been named best supporting actress by Los Angeles film critics for her performance in the American drama film "Minari."
The Los Angeles Film Critics Association announced Monday that Youn won the award, beating Amanda Seyfried of "Mank."
"Minari" depicts first-generation immigrants from Korea in pursuit of their own American dream.
The latest honor is Youn`s third best supporting actress title this year, following ones from the Sunset Circle Awards and the Boston Society of Film Critics.
She has also been nominated in the same category at the Chicago Film Critics Association and the Florida Film Critics Circle.
"Minari," a contender for the Oscars next April, also stars Korean-American actor Steven Yeun and Korean actress Han Ye-ri.
