"The Man Standing Next," a film about the assassination of former South Korean President Park Chung-hee in 1979, took home best picture at the Blue Dragon Awards.
Directed by Woo Min-ho, the movie received the top honor at a ceremony held Tuesday night at Paradise City Korea.
Due to COVID-19, there was no live audience.
"The Man Standing Next" is also South Korea's entry for the best international feature film category at the 93rd Academy Awards slated for April.
Others who honored include Yoo Ah-in, who won Best Actor for his performance in the crime drama "Voice of Silence," while the Best Actress title went to Ra Mi-ran for her role in the comedy "Honest Candidate."
Lim Dae-hyung was named Best Director for "Moonlit Winter" and also took home the trophy for best screenplay.
Hong Eui-jeong, who directed "Voice of Silence," received the award for best rookie director.
