Kiwoom Heroes slugger Park Byung-ho hits his 20th home run of the KBO regular season in a game against the Hanwha Eagles at Gocheok Sky Dome in Seoul on August 11, 2020.
Park Byung-ho of the Kiwoom Heroes blasted a milestone home run on Tuesday to become the second player in South Korean baseball history to achieve seven straight 20-homer seasons.
Park hit a two-run homer off Warwick Saupold of the Hanwha Eagles at Gocheok Sky Dome in Seoul.
He joined retired slugger Lee Seung-yuop as the only other player to go deep at least 20 times in seven straight seasons.
Park began his streak in 2012, when he had 31 home runs, and it ran until 2015, after which he signed with the Minnesota Twins in Major League Baseball.
He rejoined the Heroes before the 2018 season, and went on to hammer out 43 and 33 home runs in each of the next two seasons.
