Two more coronavirus cases have been reported from the South Korean men's national football team, which is in Austria this week for a set of international friendlies.

The Korea Football Association said on Wednesday that Hwang Hee-chan, who plays as a forward for German Bundesliga club RB Leipzig, tested positive for COVID-19 after a match against Qatar the previous day.

A team staff member also contracted the virus.

They are under quarantine in Austria.

The other players that tested negative for the virus returned to Seoul Thursday afternoon.

The latest infections bring the Taegeuk Warriors' total caseload to 10.
