South Korea is headed to the semifinals of the Tokyo Olympic baseball tournament.
The national team clobbered Israel 11-1 on Monday, with an explosive seven runs in the bottom of the fifth inning at Yokohama Stadium, south of Tokyo.
The game was called on a mercy rule after Kim Hye-seong's RBI single in the seventh inning put South Korea up by 10 runs.
Starter Kim Min-woo retired the first 11 batters he faced and was charged with one run in 4 1/3 innings.
The three pitchers after him held Israel to one hit.
South Korea will get back on the field in the semifinals on Wednesday.
The team will face the winner of the United States-Japan scheduled for Monday night.
