South Korea has fallen out of the top 10 in the medal standings at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics with only a few days remaining before all competition ends.
Team Korea ranked 11th overall with six gold, four silver and nine bronze medals as of 6 p.m. Thursday.
The country had originally set a goal of bringing home at least seven gold medals and finishing in the top 10.
The Olympic Games closing ceremony is scheduled to be held Sunday, but before then more Korean athletes could top the podium for baseball, women's volleyball and women's golf.
