President Moon Jae-in congratulated Tuesday four South Korean athletes who recently won medals at the Tokyo Paralympics by sending them messages.
They include table tennis players Joo Young-dae and Kim Hyeon-uk, who took home the gold and silver medals, respectively, in the men's singles class 1 event on Monday.
Their teammate Nam Ki-won clinched bronze.
The president also highlighted table tennis player Kim Young-gun, who captured silver in the men's individual singles class 4, and praised shooter Park Jin-ho, who grabbed the bronze medal in the men’s 10-meter air pistol.
South Korea remains in 13th place in overall standings with one gold, three silver and nine bronze medals.
