Choi Kyoung-ju, better known internationally as K.J. Choi, has become the first Korean to win a men's professional senior golf tour event in the United States.
The 51-year-old veteran golfer shot a final round of 68, with five birdies and one bogey, to take the PGA Tour Champions at Pebble Beach Golf Links in California on Sunday.
He had a total score of 13-under 203.
Choi will receive 330,000 dollars in prize money.
It was also his first tour-sanctioned victory in more than 10 years after clinching The Players Championship in 2011.
