South Korea dominated Iraq Tuesday in a World Cup qualifier in Doha, Qatar.
Midfielder Lee Jae-sung opened the scoring in the 3-0 shutout victory at Thani bin Jassim Stadium.
Captain Son Heung-min also scored his 30th international goal, while young midfielder Jeong Woo-yeong netted his first.
The win extended the Taeguk Warriors' undefeated streak to six matches in the final Asian qualifying round.
It was the team's last match of the year.
Whether they make it to their 10 straight World Cup, which will be held in Qatar in December 2022, will likely be determined in January.
South Korea stands in second place in Group A with 14 points after six matches, two back of Iran.
The UAE is a distant third with six points.
The top two teams in each group earn automatic bids to the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
