South Korea kept its medal hopes alive after beating Japan 10-5 late Monday in women's curling at the Beijing Winter Games.
Team Kim bounced back after falling to the United States 8-6 earlier in the day, evening its record at 3-3.
South Korea is tied with Canada and Britain for fifth place with three matches left in the round robin.
The team, led by skip Kim Eun-jung, is set for another double header on Wednesday, first facing Switzerland at 10:05 a.m. KST, followed by a game with Denmark later in the day.
The final round robin game will be against Denmark on Thursday.
The top four nations after nine round-robin games apiece will reach the semifinals.
