Multiple events and rallies are taking place in central Seoul today.
Thousands have gathered at Seoul Plaza for the 19th Seoul Queer Parade and were scheduled to march along a 4-kilometer route passing through Euljiro-1-ga, Jonggak, and Jongno-2-ga and then back to Seoul Plaza at this hour.
Police have dispatched a large number of officers at the site in case of clashes between the parade participants and protesters against it.
Later at 7 p.m., rallies against Yemini refugees will be held at Gwanghwamun, while employees of Korean Air and Asiana Airlines will be demonstrating against hierarchical corporate culture in front of Cheong Wa Dae.■
