Gyeongui Line tracks
An extension of the Gyeongui Line connecting Munsan and Imjingang stations has been completed.
The Korea Rail Network Authority announced today that the six-kilometer section will open in March after a three-month trial run.
The Gyeongui Line, which is part of the Gyeongui-Jungang Line, opened in July 2009 as part of the Seoul metropolitan subway system.
The company plans to extend the line further to Dorasan Station close to the inter-Korean border in the near future.■
