The world's largest artificial wave pool is now located in South Korea.
Wave Park, which is on an artificial island named Geobuk in Siheung, Gyeonggi Province, opened to the public on Thursday.
The pool can produce waves of up to 2.4 meters every 8 seconds and accommodate a maximum of 150 surfers per hour.
The park also consists of facilities for other water sports such as canoeing and scuba diving.
Wave Park is only admitting a limited number of people due to the coronavirus pandemic and so reservations are recommended.
