Samsung Electronics has announced the promotion of key executives as a follow-up to a recent leadership reshuffle earlier this week.
In the latest round of promotions, the former head of Samsung's chip division Kwon Oh-hyun has become chairman of Samsung Advanced Institute of Technology.
Former head of the consumer electronics business Yoon Boo-keun was promoted to vice chairman for the company's corporate relations matters, while Shin Jong-kyun, who headed the firm's mobile arm, was appointed vice chairman of the company's human resources development.
The tech giant has been in the midst of a leadership crisis as its de-facto leader Lee Jae-yong stands trial for bribery.■
