At least 36 people have died in South Korea over the past week after receiving free flu shots under the state-led program.
The Korea Disease Control and Prevention Agency confirmed on Friday that two of the people had serious reactions to the vaccines before their deaths.
Authorities are still looking into causality between most of these cases and the vaccinations.
The first suspicious death reported, a 17-year-old boy in Incheon, was said to be unrelated to the flu shot he was given, according to an autopsy carried out by the National Forensic Service.
Other cases have been reported in various cities includeing Seoul, Daejeon, Jeju, Suncheon and Changwon.
While the government has reiterated that it does not plan to stop the seasonal flu vaccine scheme, hospitals and clinics in multiple cities have temporarily suspended the shots out of an abundance of caution.
