Most regions across South Korea are receiving rain or light snow.
Showers are forecast to continue in the greater Seoul area, parts of Gangwon, the Chungcheong provinces and the Jeolla provinces through early Tuesday.
Elsewhere, Jeju Island, the Gyeongsang provinces, and areas along the east coast will experience wet conditions through tomorrow afternoon.
According to the KMA, various areas could get anywhere between 20 and 80 millimeters of precipitation.
Meanwhile, inland areas in Gangwon could get 10 to 40 centimeters of snowfall.
Cold air from the northwest is also expected sweep down over the peninsula overnight. resulting in chiller conditions.
Morning lows will range from minus 3 to 7 degrees Celsius, with the mercury peaking between 1 and 10 degrees Celsius.
