At least 21 employees of a customer service center in Ulsan run by the Ministry of Employment and Labor have tested positive for COVID-19.
Ulsan city officials said Tuesday 126 employees were screened after one employee tested positive for the coronavirus the previous day.
Those whose results came back negative have gone into quarantine.
One worker is believed to have also infected family members, including on relative who is a local police officer, for a total of 23 confirmed infections linked to this cluster as 2 p.m. Tuesday.
Authorities are carrying out epidemiological surveys to determine the exact route of infection.
