The entire nation will continue to bake under an intense heat wave on this Thursday.
The Korea Meteorological Administration said the mercury will hover between 31 and 36 degrees Celsius in some parts this afternoon, with high humidity levels making it feel even hotter.
The weather agency has advised the public to drink plenty of water and avoid outdoor activities.
But, bouts of heavy rain are expected in the capital region and inland areas of Chungcheong and North Jeolla provinces.
Up to 40 millimeters of precipitation is forecast through late tonight.
