A 2.2 magnitude earthquake shook areas near Taean County in South Chungcheong Province early Friday.
The Korea Meteorological Administration said the temblor struck around 5:33 a.m.
It was centered some 16 kilometers west-southwest of the county.
Officials said there were no reports of injury or damage.
