Heavy snow advisories have been lifted in the greater Seoul area as conditions cleared up Wednesday afternoon.
But the national weather service said light flurries are possible in some parts of the capital region, which could impact the evening commute.
People are advised to use public transportation, while drivers should take precautions as roads could be slippery due to icy and wet conditions.
According to the Korea Meteorological Administration, an average of more than 3 centimeters of snow piled up in Seoul earlier in the day.
More fresh powder is in store for Gangwon Province and mountainous areas in North Gyeongsang Province through early Thursday.
