Commuters may be experiencing difficulties this morning as subway trains in Seoul are being delayed on Line 2, between Sindorim and Kkachisan stations, due to a derailment.
According to Seoul Metro, the accident was caused by a technical problem in a train that ran off the tracks after running into a barrier at 2:10 a.m.
Officials said recovery and cleanup work were completed nearly three hours later, but train services on the line were still disrupted.
A Sindorim station official said it will take some time for trains to be in full operation and back on regular schedule.■
