LG Electronics has named Formula One star Lewis Hamilton as a brand ambassador for its luxury line of products.
The company announced on Thursday that Hamilton will promote its high-end appliances and advanced technologies under the LG Signature brand.
The 35-year-old Brit is a six-time Formula One world champion and considered one of the best racing drivers in the history of the sport.
Hamilton recently drew level with Michael Schumacher's record of 91 Formula One wins.
LG, a major home appliance maker in South Korea, has been appointing renowned influencers, such as prima ballerina Misty Copeland and style icon Olivia Palermo, as brand ambassadors to better target millenials.
