The annual Consumer Electronics Show is set to get underway on Monday for a four-day run entirely online due to COVID-19.
It's the first time in the global trade show's 54-year history that it will be an all-digital event.
The CES is usually held in Las Vegas, Nevada, attracting tens of thousands of exhibitors and visitors.
Home automation, health and 5G will be the highlight of the 2021 edition, but many companies will also show off technologies that reflect people's increased time at home amid the pandemic.
South Korean firms, anchored by Samsung Electronics and LG Electronics, will focus on showcasing new innovations that can improve lives in the "new normal" era.
Both companies will hold virtual press conferences Monday to unveil their visions for future technologies.
