The Seoul Metropolitan Government says it has provided retired people aged fifty and above around 1,000 more jobs in the welfare sector this year, compared to last year's 719.
They have been allocated to work at schools, villages, and welfare facilities based on their experience and expertise in social work.
Participants work 57 hours a month, with an average monthly wage of 458,000 won.■
