Sanggye Station on Seoul Subway Line 4
Two trains collided Thursday morning at Sanggye Station on Seoul Subway Line 4 causing extensive delays.
The accident occured around 10:40 a.m., halting operations from Nowon to Danggogae stations.
According to authorities, the rear-end collision is believed to have been caused by a broken signal.
Around 80 passengers were reportedly on one of the trains at the time of the incident.
At least five people were said to have sustained minor injuries.
Officials are looking into the cause of the accident.
